Account Executive

Overview
The Account Executive is responsible for generating revenue through direct sales. Specific responsibilities include:
  • Solutions Selling of TrackVia product line
  • Maintaining pipeline to achieve monthly sales goals
  • Management of Solutions Specialist
Job Responsibilities
  • Consistently achieve targeted sales quota through new business
  • Management of Team Solutions Specialists
  • Provide accurate and timely forecasts to sales management
  • Develop strong presence and awareness in the region for TrackVia services through participation in community and technology organizations
  • Develop relationships with potential customers in order to generate sales
  • Work closely with the Solutions Architect group and support team to ensure the successful implementation of customer applications
  • Participate in the development of new service ideas and sales strategies as needed
  • Participate in trade shows and presentations to industry/customer groups
Desired Experience and Skills
  • Should have 5+ years proven sales experience in web-based applications or a related field, such as SaaS/Cloud or Internet services
  • Able to consistently maintain a prospecting funnel and demonstrate ability to maintain communication throughout sales cycle
  • Proven success in selling technically-oriented software (or related IT products and services) from initial contact to the conclusion of the sales process
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and techniques and product knowledge to close sales that result in satisfied customers who continue to purchase more productive technologies, products and services
  • A track record of success in solutions selling (or related) B2B sales
  • Must be willing to work in a small business environment by being flexible and open to new tasks or responsibilities
  • Bachelors degree (MBA preferred)
