JOB DESCRIPTION

The Account Executive (AE) "Hunter" with a track record of closing new business. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience selling mobile advertising products, mobile SaaS platforms, and/or marketing agency services to established clients where minimum average monthly spend is in excess of $100k/month.

Experience selling mobile advertising, analytics, CRM, marketing automation, digital media publishing or content marketing solutions would be the best fit. Prior experience should include collaboration with Marketing/Sales Enablement team including input into the lead generation process.

The AE will be responsible for every step of the sales process, including some lead generation, high-level qualification conversations with senior executives about their business and marketing issues and operations, proposal generation, and contract negotiation/closing. The successful candidate will be a strongly self-motivated and driven individual who is goal-oriented, methodical and tenacious, and can balance both effectively working within a strong team while also maintaining a high degree of self-sufficiency. This position has advancement potential within the Sales organization, and the compensation package includes an uncapped commission structure.

WHAT YOU HAVE

• Background in Enterprise Sales for Mobile or Marketing Technology, or Digital Marketing Agency sales required 
• Experience building a book of business from scratch 
• Outstanding verbal, written and stand up presentation skills 
• Prior experience with Salesforce.com CRM, or a comparable CRM used to manage sales pipeline, required. Demonstrated ability to quickly come up to speed on new cloud apps and tools. 
• Ability to consistently achieve or exceed set sales goals 
• A proven connector in your daily life through social media and other mediums 
• Up-to-date on digital and application marketing trends, especially in the mobile space 
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, and ability to work well in a team environment. 
• Prior experience in an early-stage/startup company – a history of running quickly with little supervision, and an ability to adapt to and lead through fast-paced, high-growth, uncertain environments is a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop clear business plan and strategy around new account development and revenue generation 
• Build strong relationships and cultivate trusted-advisor status within key, targeted accounts 
• Prepare and professionally deliver formal and informal presentations to key prospects 
• Negotiate and close all phases of engagements, including review and preparation of NDAs and development agreements 
• Manage relationships with existing clients to identify new business opportunities.
