Candidate Profile

We are looking for an experienced outside sales & business development professional with strong sales and customer service skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast paced work environment.

You will be responsible for proactively seeking new large clients and partnerships in existing and undeveloped market segments. You will be prospecting daily, building your client base to increase overall company revenue and growth while effectively interfacing with multiple departments internally to drive new customer loyalty and retention. Your success will be based on the ability to bring new clients to Travelers Haven. While building relationships is key, there is a strong focus on attention to detail and time management which are essential skills for this role. Prior experience in B2B sales and account management is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Target and close new clients in three focused territories: Industrial, technology and professional service companies nationwide.
  • Develop and grow clients through inbound leads, from a single transaction to regular bookers with lasting relationships
  • Reengage with previous clients and establish them as consistent and long-term users
  • Negotiate revenue share and partnership agreements with new clients
  • Provide online demos to prospects and existing clients
  • Oversee strategic planning, and operate as the lead point of contact, for any and all matters specific to your portfolio
  • Identify opportunities to upsell your portfolio
  • Build long-lasting relationships with clients, and challenge them to use Travelers Haven exclusively for their temporary housing needs
  • Offer Hotel Engine to all prospects and existing Travelers Haven clients in your portfolio

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience in Outside B2B sales
  • A hunger and passion for helping businesses improve their temporary housing programs
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and activities while paying attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter and self-motivated
  • BA/BS degree
