You’ll use data, technology and market insights to craft complex deals that help our customers—and your team, win. As an Associate Account Executive, you will proactively manage a list of RingCentral’s premier installed Public Sector customers; tasked with cultivating and saturating business within these accounts. Your goal is to uncover and capitalize on upsell opportunities as well as provide a high level of customer service. This position is an inside sales/account management role and will be worked from our office in Denver or Charlotte.
Uncover net new opportunities, sell the RingCentral platform, and close and manage these accounts.
Become the resident expert on the RingCentral Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) Platform including our hosted VoIP solution, ContactCenter, Mobile Applications, and IP hardware.
Prospect into installbase and net new customers
Run call and marketing campaigns weekly and sell the RingCentral platform into these companies.
Align with you regional AE weekly to strategize on strategic activity campaigns in the region.
Develop a strong understanding of our customers’ business priorities and systems and utilize our sales methodologies and processes to clearly exhibit the advantages of partnering with RingCentral
Be an innovator to help drive the communication message within multiple sub verticals of Public Sector (state and local government, counties, cities, K-12, school districts..)
3-6 years of B2B upmarket sales experience, preferably in technology sector.
Knowledge of working with Public Sector or Education vertical
Outbound sales experience in cultivating new business.
Demonstrated sales record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
Success in maintaining existing customer base, cultivating new business, upselling services/products.
Ability to explore and make recommendations to customers based on their priorities.
Excellent customer service orientation, face-to-face and virtual (phone/video conferencing) to support remote users.
Strong initiative and creativity applied through technology.
Vibrant and energetic attitude, willingness to perform and get things done

If you are hired in Colorado, the compensation range for this position is between $82,000 and $108,000 for full-time employees, in addition to eligibility for equity, and benefits. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, health and wellness, 401k, ESPP, vacation, parental leave, and more! The salary may vary depending on your location, skills, and experience.
