Position Summary:
The Program Development Expert is Redaptive’s most experienced individual contributor in sales program development. This role serves as the subject matter expert (SME) on complex program structuring, advanced financial modeling, and strategic deal development. The Expert partners with Sales, Product, Finance, and Legal teams to design innovative, data-driven customer programs that enhance deal success and profitability.
This role sets the standard for excellence in program development practices, mentors specialists, and drives continuous improvement across processes and tools.

Key Responsibilities: 

Program and Deal Strategy 

  • Lead the design and execution of complex, high-value customer programs that require advanced structuring and creative financial solutions. 

  • Partner with Sales Executives and senior client stakeholders to define deal strategy, pricing structure, and value propositions. 

  • Serve as the primary SME for financial analysis and deal economics, influencing decisions at the executive level internally and externally. 

 

Cross-Functional Leadership 

  • Drive collaboration across Sales, Engineering, Commercial Product, and Legal teams to ensure proposal alignment with technical, financial, and contractual requirements. 

  • Mentor and coach Program Development Specialists, sharing best practices and supporting their professional growth. 

  • Support leadership in developing team standards, templates, and methodologies to ensure scalability and quality. 

 

Process Improvement & Innovation 

  • Identify and champion new tools, automation, and process improvements that enhance proposal accuracy, speed, and quality. 

  • Develop and maintain advanced financial models, pricing frameworks, and risk assessment tools for enterprise-level opportunities. 

  • Contribute to the development of Redaptive’s overall program development strategy and knowledge base. 

 

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement 

  • Engage directly with senior customer stakeholders, including C-Suite executives, to articulate value propositions, address deal risks, and drive consensus. 

  • Translate complex technical and financial data into compelling customer narratives and recommendations. 

 

Governance & Quality Control 

  • Ensure accuracy, compliance, and consistency across all proposals and financial analyses. 

  • Provide expert review and input on key deal documentation, pricing assumptions, and business cases. 

 

Required Abilities and Skills: 

  • Deep expertise in financial modeling, business case development, and proposal strategy. 

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to balance analytical rigor and business intuition. 

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, including the ability to engage C-suite stakeholders. 

  • Proven ability to influence outcomes and decisions without formal authority. 

  • High degree of autonomy, accountability, and proactive problem-solving. 

  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency; ability to design and deliver executive-ready content. 

  • Demonstrated ability to lead through collaboration, mentorship, and innovation. 

 

Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or Engineering; MBA or advanced degree preferred. 

  • 7–10+ years of progressive experience in program development, financial analysis, or sales operations within energy or infrastructure sectors. 

  • Recognized track record as a subject matter expert driving measurable impact in program development or deal strategy. 

  • Strong understanding of energy efficiency, sustainability, and financing principles.

  • Expected annual salary: $122,000 - $155,000 (subject to adjustment for relevant experience, skills, geo location)
