Position Details
Zayo is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Revenue Optimization Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and implementing strategies to maximize revenue, mitigate revenue leakage, effectively manage sales canceled orders and provide end to end continual improvement. Our Revenue Optimization Specialist will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to analyze data, identify trends, understand root cause(s), and develop actionable insights to drive revenue growth and improve overall financial performance.
*We're open to this position working in a hybrid capacity out of our Denver, CO office (1401 Wynkoop).
Responsibilities:

  • Revenue Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of revenue streams, including sales data, canceled orders, and revenue leakage points. Identify opportunities for improvement and develop strategies to optimize revenue generation.
  • Canceled Order Management: Develop and implement processes to effectively manage canceled orders, including tracking, analysis, and resolution. Work closely with sales, customer service, and operations teams to minimize cancellations and mitigate revenue loss.
  • Revenue Leakage Prevention: Identify potential sources of revenue leakage, such as pricing discrepancies, billing errors, or contract non-compliance. Implement controls and measures to prevent revenue leakage and ensure accuracy in revenue reporting.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with sales, product, finance, and operations teams to align revenue optimization strategies with overall business objectives. Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue optimization, canceled orders, and revenue leakage. Track progress against goals and continuously evaluate the effectiveness of optimization strategies.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve revenue optimization processes and procedures. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to drive efficiency and effectiveness in revenue management.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in revenue management, sales operations, or related roles.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or Tableau.
  • Proficiency in CRM's (Salesforce) in addition to the reporting tools line.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in revenue analysis and reporting.
  • Proven track record of implementing revenue optimization strategies and driving measurable results.


Base Pay Range: $56,300 - $78,800 USD/annually, commensurate with experience.
