What You’ll Do:

The Reservations Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the resort’s reservations operations, ensuring maximum occupancy, revenue optimization, and exceptional guest service across all guest segments. This role manages and strategically balances inventory and service delivery for homeowners (HOA and managed units), transient, and group business, ensuring each segment is supported with tailored booking strategies and service standards. This role leverages advanced technology and AI driven tools to improve conversion, streamline operations, personalize guest interactions, and enhance decision making. This role will collaborate closely with Sales, Front Office, Revenue Management, and Marketing. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to the unique demands of a high-volume mountain resort environment. This is an onsite position in Breckenridge, CO with the potential for a hybrid schedule. Transitional housing may be available.

Position range $70,000-$80,000 annual salary DOE

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of 6-7 direct reports – onsite and remote.
  • Performance management including setting goals and expectations, monitoring performance, providing feedback and implementing corrective action.
  • Partner with human resources to recruit and hire staff.
  • Identify and create development and advancement opportunities.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily reservations operations, ensuring efficient handling of all booking channels across homeowner, transient, and group segments.
  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory allocation for owner units, transient demand, and group blocks within the PMS.
  • Balance inventory and demand across segments to maximize occupancy, ADR, and overall revenue performance.
  • Partner with Revenue Management to implement dynamic pricing, monitor booking pace, and adjust restrictions and allocations.
  • Utilize AI-driven forecasting, analytics, and automation tolls to anticipate demand and support revenue optimization strategies.
  • Ensure exceptional, personalized guest service tailored to the needs of homeowners, leisure travelers, and group coordinators.
  • Leverage technology solutions (chat, CRM, call tracking, booking tools) to improve response time, conversion.
  • Coach staff on sales and service strategies including transient upselling, group coordination, and homeowner relations.
  • Drive effective use of reservations systems, CRM platforms, and AI-enabled tools to enhance team productivity and performance.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on KPI’s including call volume, conversion rates, booking pace, and segment performance.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Front Office, and Operations to align segment strategies and ensure seamless guest experience.
  • Continuously improve processes and ensure compliance with HOA agreements, resort policies, and service standards while identifying opportunities to implement new technology and AI solutions.
  • Manage departmental budget including forecasting.

Education and Experience:

  • Highschool diploma or GED - required
  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or equivalent experience – preferred
  • 3+ years of reservations or call center experience or equivalent experience - required
  • 2+ years experience in hospitality/resort industry or equivalent - preferred
  • 2+ management/supervisory experience - required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Outlook and Word - required
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other data related software - required
  • Experience with SMS - preferred
  • Proficiency in English written and spoken language - required
