OnDeck is currently looking to hire a Sales Support Specialist for the Renewal Sales team in the Denver office! The Sales Support Specialist will support the Renewals Sales team with a wide variety of recurring as well as ad-hoc service and support projects to improve Sales Rep efficiency and effectiveness and improving the overall success of the Renewals team. The Sales Support Specialist will be part of the Sales Support Team and report to the Senior Director of Sales Operations and work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Customer Service, and Collections. 

As part of the Renewals Sales team, you will:

  • Provide sales support for renewals agents and customer service to our borrowing customers
  • Manage a variety of initiatives to ensure OnDeck borrowing customers are in touch about Renewal deals that are approved including:
    • collecting required paperwork, managing Sales Rep’s Collect/Verify accounts
    • gathering missing information
    • manage LDIM clean-up activities
    • FAP Partner Support
    • Conduct Merchant welcome calls
  • Manage referral program
  • MCA payoff letters
  • helping prepare loans for closing
  • Pipeline management; Open & manage cases/exceptions/escalations
  • Initiating and processing renewal applications
  • Handle inbound calls and assist customers; Make outbound calls on a daily basis to welcome customers to OnDeck.
  • Respond to emails, phone calls, and other forms of correspondence.
  • Provide coverage for sales team members when they are out of the office.
  • Process sales data and progress reports.
  • Get in touch with landlords for LLV or merchants for u/w call.
  • Provide coverage for sales team members when they are out of the office.
  • Working closely with renewals agents to minimize their engagements in non-selling activities and maximize their sales time!
  • Data entry-taking applications
  • Managing Fax server and routing appropriate documents to the right sales reps
  • Handle a high volume of data reviews and manage account level details often talking with borrowers directly regarding their loan details
  • Work closely with approx. 20 Sales Reps
  • Salesforce reporting – ad hoc report creation
  • Sales Funnel Optimization – identifying trends, why are deals getting held up in Collect/Verify stage, LDIM, etc.
  • Assist with contest administration
  • Other Sales Operations project related tasks and initiatives

About You:

  • You have a 4-year Bachelor's Degree
  • You have 2-4 years of experience supporting a sales team from an administrative, operational, and customer service perspective
  • You are self-motivated, driven to work hard in a fast-paced, dynamic sales environment
  • You are flexible and adaptable to immediate or unforeseen challenges and able to be persist while building and maintaining strong relationships with the Direct Team Sales Reps and managers
  • You possess highly effective verbal, written communication and presentation skills
  • You have excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks to ensure effective and timely follow-up
  • You have strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Prior CRM experience-preferably Salesforce.com
