We are seeking a QA Engineer III who is passionate about quality in a fast-paced SaaS environment and can drive testing excellence across APIs and integrations. This role is hands-on, requiring deep technical expertise, strong collaboration skills, and an openness to experimenting with AI-augmented QA practices.
At Foley, we’re scaling rapidly with new products in development and a digital transformation underway across our backend software systems and product delivery processes. As part of this transformation, we are building a modern API and integrations platform to connect our products and partners.
What You’ll Do- Own quality assurance for Foley’s API initiative and other integrations, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Design/plan, implement, and execute functional, non-functional and security tests across APIs and backend services.
- Use tools like Postman (and potentially extend with Newman, CI/CD pipelines, or custom frameworks) to validate API behavior and integration workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and support teams to ensure effective communication and resolution of issues when participating in agile ceremonies fostering shift-left testing approach.
- Own defect triage and reporting, providing clear and actionable insights for developers and stakeholders.
- Apply AI-assisted tooling to accelerate test case generation, automation coverage, and execution, keeping pace with rapid developer output.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the enhancement of testing methodologies and best practices.

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of QA experience in SaaS or API-driven product environment, with a strong emphasis on API and backend integrations
- Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and techniques.
- Hands-on expertise with Postman for API testing and automating scripting withing Postman
- Familiarity with Open API standards, MuleSoft, Restful API or other API platforms.
- Familiarity with automation and security testing tools like Selenium, Playwright, JMeter, Blazemeter.
Location: This role is primarily remote (US based) and will work in EST hours, with the expectation of occasional visits to our offices for team collaboration, training, or company events.

Compensation
The base compensation range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 annually + additional variable compensation, depending on experience and qualifications. Actual compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
