Transformation & PMO Leader, Global Supply (Remote in the US)Summary

Invitae is on a mission to bring genetic information to mainstream medicine to improve healthcare for billions! We are searching for a Transformation & PMO Leader within our Global Supply team that will help us better plan and executive strategic imperatives. This person will build and ultimately lead the Global Supply Transformation & PMO team. As a member of the Global Supply leadership team, the successful candidate will drive improved speed to market, operational launch reliability, and overall business results through a process-based approach to prioritizing and resourcing strategic programs and projects.

What you'll do:

  • Scope spans end-to-end Global Supply operations: Plan, Buy, Make, Move, Serve
  • Leader of cross-functional strategic programs & policy steering team(s)
  • Create and govern strategic program portfolio management system: market entry, production innovation/renovation; M&A integration; value chain design
  • Expand access to project and portfolio health status by developing kanban and project health dashboard information systems e.g., JIRA, Monday.com, etc.
  • Expand PMO team to support Global Supply operations
  • Coach direct and indirect team members to deliver change effectively (business case development, chartering, resourcing, planning, stakeholder management, close-out)
  • Teach and coach core project management skills (capturing voice of the customer; risk identification, mitigation, & escalation; collaborative problem solving)
  • Build strong relationships and collaborations with R&D, Project Managers, Commercial, Finance and other key functions and teams.
  • Collaboratively define and operationalize global cross-functional integration w/ Product, Commercial, Finance, and IT
  • Identify and implement improvements across processes and products
  • Drive improvements in executional speed by creating clarity in roles & responsibilities and ways of working
  • Support the development of strategy deployment, tiered accountability scorecards and operating mechanisms

What you'll bring:

  • 12 + years experience in change management, project management, and enterprise-level workflow development
  • Certifications in change management, org effectiveness, project management or equivalent
  • BS in Engineering, Economics, or Sciences
  • Ability to travel ~30% (domestic US and international)
