GENERAL FUNCTION:

The Transformation Consultant will be responsible for delivering initiatives that transform the end to end merchant and partner experiences at Worldpay. Work will be cross-functional in nature, with primary stakeholders residing in Product, Technology, Operations, Risk, and the lines of business (LOB). The Transformation Consultant will work collaboratively with stakeholders to both develop strategy as well as lead execution initiatives within WP Transformation program. Strategy development will include gathering and documenting requirements, designing new processes and operating models, and producing analysis to make data driven recommendations. Execution will include assessing and solving for downstream impacts to operations as well as commercialization in the LOB(s). Transformation Risk Lead will work with Leader, Transformation Strategy & Execution to drive alignment and buy-in necessary for large scale implementation.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design, lead, and execute on initiatives within WP Transformation program
  • Gather and document initiative requirements
  • Define new operational procedures and operating models -- with an emphasis on automation and efficiency
  • Perform data driven analysis to justify selected approaches
  • Define, implement, and measure pilot(s) to test new approaches and prove success prior to large scale roll out
  • Assess and solve for downstream impacts to Operations and make operational readiness decisions
  • Develop and execute on commercialization of initiatives in LOB(s)
  • Align stakeholders across the organization on approach, requirements, solution options, business cases, and implementation plans
  • Facilitate and directly drive critical issue resolution and eliminate roadblocks
  • Perform any other duties as assigned


MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 3-4 years of work experience
  • Experience working in payments industry a plus
  • Proven ability to manage cross functional projects and build strong working relationships with multiple stakeholders and departments
  • Strong problem solving skills; ability to develop clear, detailed requirements and drive processes with numerous interdependencies
  • Must have intellectual curiosity, desire to learn, and commitment to quality, customer-focused solutions
  • A successful track record of working with managers and executives at high levels in the organization
  • Understanding and ability to develop and deliver analytical insights using business data, including the use of analytical tools such as MS Excel
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)


WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Normal office environment with little exposure to dust, noise, temperature and the like
  • Extended viewing of CRT screen
  • 20% of overnight travel may be required
