Training and Enablement Program Manager
Position Description:
As a member of our Sales Enablement team, our Sales Trainer will be responsible for owning and managing new hire training and onboarding programs. Additional responsibilities will include conducting internal development training to support the sales organization.
Responsibilities:
Executes training programs for new sales representatives to teach a broad range of sales skills, sales process and product knowledge (hardware, software, services)
Executes training programs for new hires through an on-boarding process. This includes planning, content development, scheduling and hosting sessions
Works with Product Marketing to provide product training as needed alongside our Product Team
Collaborates with Sales Management and Enablement to monitor the performance of new sales representatives within their first year and representatives who are “at risk” or underperforming to retrain them on the sales skills needed to improve performance
Strong mentoring and adherence to set Conga best practices and methodologies
Assists with the creation of sales support materials
Support and coach sales representatives to effectively engage with their customers, run web based sales presentations and demonstrations
Works with HR to plan and schedule our new hire classes
Experience, Skills and Competencies:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent professional experience
3-5 years of internal sales training experience
Experience developing and leading sales training strongly preferred
Talented and engaging public speaker with proven ability to facilitate group presentations across every level
Strong organizational, scheduling, planning and prioritizing abilities. Able to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities with a high degree of flexibility in adapting to a rapidly changing environment
Must be able to thrive and adapt to change in a very fast paced environment
Basic understanding of sales key performance indicator analysis
Self-motivated, ability to work independently and motivate a team.
Management of pipelines, territories, forecasting and processes.
Experience and desire to be a coach and mentor
