Summary:

The Training and Development Project Coordinator supports the entire Training and Development team to create high-quality, effective learning content and experiences for volunteer leaders. Reporting to the Training and Development Manager, this position is responsible for developing and managing communications, creating and editing training materials, and coordinating logistics associated with training and other department events.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the development of training-related materials and business processes
  • Develops a working knowledge of training curriculum
  • Manages communications and scheduling for all training programs, which includes supporting cross-department collaboration and liaising with volunteer leaders at all levels of the organization
  • Coordinates logistics for all training events (off-site and online), including the following:
    • Managing registration
    • Ordering, packing and shipping materials
    • Tracking attendance
    • Creating and analyzing training assessments
  • Partners with other departments and vendors to prepare and create training materials
  • Reviews and proofreads training materials
  • Assists in maintenance of learning resources and training materials
  • Assists Training and Development Manager with department budget maintenance
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • High digital dexterity, with proficiency in Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Planner, etc.) and related business and communication tools (Zoom) and eLearning authoring tools (Articulate)
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong editing and proofreading skills
  • Ability to plan, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as in collaboration with others
  • Exceptional follow-up and follow-through
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, often under tight deadlines
  • Ability to assess challenges and determine when it is appropriate to take the initiative or seek additional guidance
  • Ability to quickly learn and incorporate new skills, information, and processes into daily work
  • High level of professionalism, respect, and customer service at all times
  • Occasional work outside typical working hours
  • Occasional weekend work
  • Occasional workdays exceeding 12 hours (during training events)
  • Some travel may be required

This position pays $60,008.00/year and is exempt.

This role will be working full-time in our office located at 9127 S. Jamaica St. Englewood, CO 80112. You will be working from home while the office is closed due to COVID-19. Permanent work authorization for the U.S. is required.
