Technology Project Manager

The ​Technology​ ​Project​ ​Manager​ will oversee delivery of technology improvements for StickerGiant’s systems. ​The role is responsible for successful end-to-end delivery of IT solutions that meet StickerGiant’s evolving business needs, which have a direct impact on StickerGiant’s efficiency, cost, revenue and innovation at the company.​ Your ability to gather stakeholder feedback, search for patterns and synthesize information to deliver a project on-time and on-budget is your greatest gift. Your favorite challenges are the ones that tap your innate analytical thinking skills to devise ways to keep a project on-track in spite of any complications that may arise.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage full lifecycle technical projects including scope, timeline and budget. Possible projects include:

Internal IT projects

• Business systems - maintenance and new feature development

• Desktop and server support projects

• Process improvement projects

E-commerce website

• Delivering routine maintenance and new feature development with a remote team using the Agile methodology

New Print Workflow application

• Management of a remote vendor development & configuration team

• Coordination across and between internal resources and our vendor ensure successful project

  delivery with an eye towards consistent documentation, training, and implementation methodologies

Effectively communicate plans and any required actions to cross-functional team members and management

Maintain and publish project data, reports and milestones

Manage needed project meetings with the appropriate team members and/or stakeholders

Ensure key project and business milestones are met, holding all team members accountable for all deliverables

Explore and adapt project management industry best practices (e.g PMI) and Agile project delivery

EDUCATION AND FORMAL TRAINING

Bachelor’s degree in technology, business or a related field

3+ years experience in project or program management

Project Management certification preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY

Demonstrated success leading technology projects similar to the areas mentioned above

Exemplary analytical thinking, organization, communication and time management skills

Experience with the delivery of web development and backend server projects

Ability to uncover and align dependencies between elements of project work or deliverables

Group leadership, especially the ability to address challenges quickly and navigate solutions from different points of view

Ability to bring together different disciplines and functions into a cohesive project team

Proficiency in work tracking software such as Asana, Jira, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, etc.

Comfortable with advanced use of spreadsheets and Google Suite products
