WEB ANALYTICS TRAINER
The Web Analytics Trainer will work in the Services Training Department as a knowledge facilitator and technical educator of our client base of agencies and digital marketers. The Web Analytics Trainer develops and delivers content related to the Google Marketing Platform, providing users with basic to advanced knowledge on a variety of concepts, topics and features. The goal is to educate our customer base in pursuit of increased use and platform enablement.
We are looking for a professional who has familiarity with web analytics implementations and is eager to share their expertise for analytics and training. This team member will help to pioneer this new service offering and will have the autonomy to help shape processes, including the adoption and roll-out of a Learning Management System (LMS) and client portal.
A key part of this role will be maintaining and evolving content for Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google BigQuery, and Analytics 360 courses. You will help develop our core set of modules tied to the above, ensuring content is fresh and relevant to our users. You will assist with agenda planning and adjust the content delivery to be relevant to the client’s implementation as you deliver face-to-face and/or remote training.
This Role:
Reports to the Vice President of Platform Implementation
Strives for excellence in terms of training delivery and delegate feedback scores
Seeks opportunity for upselling and platform adoption through education
Has a general understanding of how to implement and use tools including Google Analytics, Google BigQuery and Google Tag Manager, and understands how Google Analytics works with the rest of the Google Marketing Platform stack
Will be encouraged to lead or consult on analytics projects to ensure your skills remain hands-on and up-to-date, however, you will not maintain a book of clients
Up to 30% travel is required
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintains and updates relevant training content so it’s kept current and reflects our position as a market-leading analytics provider for Google Analytics 360 and related platforms
Delivers training, both scheduled and private courses for the following subjects: Google Analytics, Analytics 360 and Google Tag Manager
Collaborates with the Client Services teams to understand the specific training goal, and delivers them a post-training summary with insight as to how the Client Services team may further engage the client and any related follow-up items
Attends planning calls with clients and works with the Training Coordinator to solidify agenda and travel logistics
Mentors others who would like to lead a training session or become involved with training efforts
Required Qualifications:
Extremely comfortable presenting, training and public speaking in both in-person classroom settings and online training facilitation
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Can clearly communicate processes, strategies and general requirements to both internal and external stakeholders
Results orientated and can deliver projects to tight timelines
Experience with training clients on how to utilize paid analytics solutions correctly
Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
Preferred Qualifications:
A minimum of 1 years’ experience working with analytics solutions, ranging from conducting audits to managing implementation projects, to presenting to large audiences and delivering training
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in teaching or technology, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
Has strong knowledge of the Google Analytics and Analytics 360 integrations with products including (but not limited to) Display & Video 360, Campaign Manager, Search Ads 360 & BigQuery
Technical background with expertise in Javascript / jQuery / SQL a plus
Familiar with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is a plus
