Technical Program Manager
As part of the highly respected Technical Program Management team, you will drive both the big picture and the details so that the team can deliver complex cross-functional projects, often under tight deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Define functional requirements of products, programs and features
- Lead daily engineering team stand-ups
- Own & drive project schedules across multiple software teams
- Refine processes for effective delivery of the above
- Understand technical implementation and ask questions that clarify priorities and push the team to be highly effective.
- Develop broad domain and technical knowledge
- Clearly communicate project status and anticipate bottlenecks
- Proactively remove obstacles to drive momentum and progress
- Identify communication gaps, manage issue escalations and provide support to teams balancing competing priorities
- Proactively drive results
Key skills required
- Solid technical aptitude and an ability to understand technical architecture, designs, challenges and risks in development and production
- A bias towards action
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and exceptional emotional intelligence.
- Ability to influence and motivate people across a broad variety of job functions through relationships
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously, without losing sight of highest priority items
- Strong technical, analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations and drive decisions
- Ability to understand complex concepts and make reasoned decisions objectively.
- Strong critical thinking capabilities necessary
