The Opportunity:
Gloo is seeking a highly motivated team player for a Program Manager position. This individual has demonstrated experience autonomously driving execution across ambiguous projects. They are able to make some technical and product trade-offs while balancing business needs and technical constraints. The Program Manager is also a great communicator who can translate high-level goals into tangible action plans, expertly interfacing with technical and non-technical personnel. They are comfortable working with multiple teams across different time zones and can anticipate and overcome roadblocks to deliver projects on schedule.
The Team:
The Product and Engineering teams lead the creation, release and continuous improvement of Gloo's SaaS products and capabilities. Program Managers are “get it done” contributors who love to remove blockers, dive into the details, and work with designers, engineers, customer facing teams and quality assurance to support Gloo's mission of personal growth.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Develop and manage cross-functional programs, facilitating relationships across multiple teams (both engineering and customer-facing) to identify risks, manage dependencies and optimize.
- Work with Product Owners to track and communicate velocity.
- Own multiple teams’ sprint planning, refinement, retro, and daily stand-up agile ceremonies.
- Work with Product Managers and Product Owners to organize epics and stories based on business objectives.
- Comfortable working with individual engineers and Product Owners on acceptance criteria and requirements documentation.
- Drive visibility, accountability, and execution across various program areas of software development for the organization.
- Understand product requirements, technical challenges, business needs, and develop a plan for mitigating risk and delivering features that meet the requirements.
- Manage mobile app release and app store submissions (eg. using Testflight)
- Resolve conflicts with a positive approach, maintain clarity on priorities and drive progress on execution.
- Drive technical excellence within the team, coordinating and contributing to engineering deliverables including architectural diagrams, regression testing, specifications, launch plans/criteria, and coordinate with QA on test plans.
- Work cross-functionally to develop best practices in the product development process in a quickly changing and dynamic environment.
What We're Looking For:
- B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of software engineering, or technical product/program management experience.
- Experience delivering technical programs or products from inception to delivery.
- Demonstrated experience leading execution across highly ambiguous products and programs, with experience making technical and product tradeoffs while balancing business needs and technical constraints.
- Knowledge of business needs, user needs, gathering requirements, and defining scope.
- Experience operating autonomously across multiple teams, demonstrated critical thinking, and thought leadership via influence.
- Demonstrated experience driving execution across multiple teams in different time zones, anticipating roadblocks, and creating a path forward.
- Analytical and problem-solving experience.
- Communicator who can translate high-level goals into tangible action plans, and vice-versa, expertly communicating with technical and non-technical personnel.

Compensation: $70,000-$115,000
