Recently acquired by Amazon, Canvas Technology develops autonomous robotics systems to improve Amazon’s delivery process. State-of-the-art software, cameras, and sensors, allow Canvas systems to ‘see’ and identify objects, people, vehicles, and places to react safely and intelligently. We are a team of doers that apply advanced robotics to solve real-world challenges that transform our customers’ experience.

Canvas is seeking a talented and motivated Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead next generation autonomous robotics programs. The TPM will manage the full project lifecycle of innovative programs that utilize robotic solutions (hardware and software systems) to improve the Amazon delivery experience. The successful candidate seamlessly manages the interfaces between product development teams, leadership, external stakeholders, and customers and is comfortable operating in situations with high ambiguity. Responsibilities:
· Manage competing priorities across complex cross-functional programs.
· Partner with Engineering, Product Management, Operations, Support, and other key stakeholders to define and deliver complex programs.
· Drive technical decisions, manage risks and ensure that appropriate resources are employed to deliver high quality results.

Travel may be required to corporate and operations sites a few times a year.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science, Masters preferred and 3+ years of experience leading cross functional programs with aggressive schedules.
· Experience taking a product from Concept through Launch.
· Experience in influencing stakeholders (technical and non-technical) and driving programs in a fast-paced matrix technical organization.
· Crisp written and oral communication.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience in Robotics, System Engineering, or Industrial automation.
· Strong data analytics skills (SQL, Tableau, Python etc) and proven experience in influencing business/technical decisions.
· Experience managing programs with both hardware and software systems.
