About the team:

Robinhood is looking for a seasoned technical program manager to lead security and privacy integration efforts for new acquisitions. This program is part of the Cyber Risk and Compliance (CRC) program under Information Security. The Third-Party Security function includes inbound and outbound vendor reviews, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) pre-acquisition due diligence, as well as M&A post-acquisition integration. While the main responsibilities for this role will be to define and lead integration efforts, there will be opportunities to participate in and lead activities across all the 3p functions. You will own the strategy as well as individual integration project plans for integration and work very closely with senior and executive stakeholders across the company and in current and future subsidiaries. The role is currently an individual contributor but opportunities for more senior individual contributor roles as well as management responsibility exist for the right candidate.

You will take responsibility for building out the standard security & privacy integration playbook and contribute to the integration playbook for incident response. You will identify patterns for integration and develop concrete, subsidiary-specific plans for integration that meets business and security/privacy goals. You will identify opportunities for collaboration and technology synergies with new acquisitions and build and execute on concrete project plans for each

integration.You will also the process, timelines, exit criteria, and owners for integration tasks, and produce regular executive reports on status. This role requires a technical background sufficient to identify opportunities and challenges and work with stakeholders to devise plans to take advantage of the opportunities and overcome the challenges.

You will be one of the key Robinhood faces to our new acquisitions, so an ability to work collaboratively and support the new subsidiary as they become a part of Robinhood is crucial. You will also be responsible for working with Robinhood stakeholders as we leverage the tools and skills of our subsidiaries to enable customers to participate in the financial markets.

The ideal candidate will thrive on working cross-functionally, building trust and great working relationships across a number of functions. Experience as a technical program manager within a security, privacy, or risk management function is a very important qualification for this role.

What you’ll do day-to-day:

  • Building out and streamlining the process for integration.
  • Creating and tracking project plans for integration.
  • Meeting with stakeholders to discuss progress and blockers.

  • Assessing the current state of an integration project and revising or creating new plans.

  • Create, track, and report back on action items from projects.

  • Write reports to executives on integrations.

  • Build plans for integrations to present to executives across the firm.

  • Participate in M&A due diligence and draft due diligence reports and action items.

  • Produce regular reporting for Security Leadership and other stakeholders.

  • Manage technologies used to support the program.

  • Create a plan for continually improving on the program and expanding our assessment

    capabilities.

    Some things we consider critical for this role

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields

  • 5+ years of experience in technical job roles of which at least five is program and project management

  • Experience writing clear concise technical documentation

  • Experience building and/or operating complex cross-functional programs

  • Experience in one or more security disciplines, such as those in the Common Body of

    Knowledge

  • Familiarity with GDPR, CCPA, or similar regulatory requirements

Bonus points:
  • Advanced degree in a related field

  • 5+ years of experience in a security and/or risk management organization

  • Familiarity with Process Unity, TerraTrue, Ironclad, and/or Jira.

  • Experience in a highly regulated environment and/or public companies

  • Experience with FINRA, NYDFS Part 500

  • CISSP, CISM, ISSMP, or similar certification
