At Sambasafety, the Professional Services mission is to ensure our customers develop the skills and confidence in their use of our solutions to manage and limit driver risk — ultimately improving driver and community safety.
A combination of I.T. knowledge, attention to detail, and world class customer service is required to guide Sambasafety clients with complex business needs that are transitioning to our technology solutions. If you have previous experience in a similar role with an S.a.a.S. provider this is a great opportunity for you.
What you’ll do:
- Implement Sambasafety business solutions to complex clients, following internal guidelines and in conformance with client expectations
- Work within Sambasafety implementation guidelines and timelines, as defined by statement of work and as indicated by the client
- Work closely with Client IT teams providing best-fit technical recommendations, expediting their API implementation and development efforts, delivering services and trouble-shooting technical issues
- Ensure accuracy in all aspects of client setup
- Foster successful client experience through a well-timed solution delivery, remaining engaged throughout implementation, post-sale to go-live
- Collaborate with Sambasafety sales consultants, product support specialists and product managers to ensure effective implementation of the EAPI solution
- Provides company Product Team with feedback leading to enhancement of end-user experience
- Other duties as assigned
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree required with at least 3 years of professional experience.
- Understanding of APIs/Web services, XML, JSON, FTP, Single sign on, “social” authentication
- Strong understanding of the technical nature of the web, including: An awareness of HTML/CSS/JavaScript
- The ability to learn and apply complex concepts in new situations
- Experience with troubleshooting and diagnosing the root cause of software issues
- Proficiency in common desktop software tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and experience using a wide variety of web-based applications and services
- Certificates, cookies, security and privacy concerns
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Perform multiple tasks on stringent timelines is required.
- Basic project management skills
- Knowledge of relational database and SQL concepts
- Understanding of basic networking concepts
- Ability to work as part of a team to meet client, departmental and Sambasafety objectives
- Must be comfortable working in a performance-based, structured environment
- Excellent analytical skills and time management skills
- Must be able to recognize basic procedural issues as they arise, then escalate appropriately
- Ability to seek out answers, solutions, and overcome roadblocks resulting in positive outcomes for both the client and the company
- Excellent verbal and written Communication skills
- Working knowledge of SalesForce, JIRA, Desk.com or other customer service ticket software
- Occasional travel to Sambasafety offices for departmental meetings and training
