Summary

The Talent Operations Compliance Coordinator will support functional areas of Compliance as assigned, including but not limited to: I-9 compliance, Assistance with Immigration Status Administration, HR Compliance, compliance with California equal pay act, assist in completion of AAP, Vets-4212, EEO-1  and HR knowledge administration. Talent Operations Compliance Coordinator assists with the adherence to the policies and procedures, and established governance process.

Essential Functions

  • Responsible for employee maintenance in human resource/payroll applications to support the annual reporting of various compliance deliverables.
  • Performs timely verifications of employment authorizations via e-verify application and maintains I9 records for employees company wide.
  • Assists with the regulatory compliance notifications.
  • Assist with adherence to FLSA guidelines and classifications of exempt and non-exempt positions.
  • Assists with all annual reporting and training obligations are met such as CEPA, Anti-Harassment, EEO, ADA, OFCCP, etc. which may include partnering with vendors to implement, create content, track completion records, and more.
  • Assist in periodic audits to ensure compliance obligations are met and work with Team Lead to remediate and execute action plans resulting from audits
  • Responsible for data integrity of employee records in HR systems including ADP.
  • Assists in various projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
  • Two (2) years or more experience in a related field (i.e. HR, compliance, audit)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability addressing difficult and complex issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Ability to work with a cross functional team in a collaborative environment.
  • Open communication and willingness to learn.
