The Supplier Relation’s manager’s primary responsibility is to onboard, develop and maintain a high-quality portfolio of hotel products (i.e. relevant, attractive and competitive) for HotelEngine’s fast-growing global customer base. In doing so, you will also continuously work with HotelEngine’s hotel partners to help them maximize the production potential from their participation in the HotelEngine marketplace by utilizing the power of HE’s unique data insights, internal client requests, distribution and revenue management toolset.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Identify partnership opportunities with hoteliers
  • Develop and sustain strong partner relationships by providing relevant data insights and high-quality consulting services to hotel partners (revenue management advice, marketing opportunities)
  • Build the portfolio of local hotel partners through individual research and prospecting by introducing prospective partners to HotelEngine’s marketplace and facilitate their onboarding process
  • Ensure that partner hotels’ products (content, rates and availability) are consistently optimized on the HotelEngine sites to maximize customer conversion
  • Manage RFPs for locally negotiated accounts within his/her assigned hotels
  • Secure seasonal deals and promotions within the guidelines set by management to support the brand’s perk’s initiative
  • Continuously promote and develop hotel partners’ high engagement with HotelEngine’s full suite of:
    • Unique market insights (partner reports, competitive data, key performance drivers)
    • Revenue management tools (dynamic promotions, packages, fenced deals, mobile)
    • Marketing and merchandising opportunities
    • Self-service tools (HotelEngine Supplier Portal)

  • Gaining commitment: you have the capability to move partner conversations forward and lead conversations to a successful outcome
  • Representing HotelEngine: you can exhibit professional behavior and act as a role model of the HotelEngine values before, during and after interactions with partner
  • Self-awareness, managing and developing yourself: you have the capability to achieve business goals and make the difference in interacting with partners by recognizing the emotions of oneself and of others and to use this information to guide thinking and behavior

 

Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in a relevant account management function
  • Fluent English speaker and writer
  • Affinity or experience within e-commerce and/or travel industry
  • Pro-active, sense of responsibility and can work independently
  • Accurate, strong analytical skills and an eye for detail
  • Team player, self-motivated, flexible and open to change
  • Positive attitude
  • Hotel School, or University background preferred
  • Availability to travel and be in local market 20-25% of the time
  • You are already legally authorized to work in the United States.
