About the Role
Quantum Metric’s internal Studio team is recruiting a seasoned Studio Manager to facilitate workflow on projects. Studio Managers partner with key company stakeholders, art directors, copywriters, video producers, web producers, and marketing managers to manage the creative resources in the Studio as well as across the organization, and are responsible for managing the creative development process, resources, and delivery of all creative assets for all marketing campaigns and programs. Duties include helping to develop internal traffic systems, creating schedules, and tracking project progress, routing work for review and approval, managing budgets, fulfillment of expenses/invoices, opening and closing projects, and training team members. Responsibilities also lie in collaboration with other stakeholders (campaign managers, team leads, product managers, etc.) for the management of all forms of creative projects and programs from strategy, concept, outline, and resource allocation through to delivery and measurement. Also included, budget management, and best practices in a large-scale, creative organization.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for continuous refinement of processes between marketing and creative teams.
- Enable resource management including implementation of processes, tools, and tracking for all resource assignments including outside creative agencies
- Work with team leads to identify top priorities and ensure that resources and funding are aligned against the priorities
- Create sound processes to ensure budgets are accurately managed
- Develop and administrate all project management processes in Workfront
- Establish process and workflow for publishing assets to a digital asset management system
- Deploy all technical aspects of creative asset management systems: file servers, user access, etc.
- Manage training on all production management tools and systems
- Oversee the broader umbrella of creative requests and operations
- Owns coordinating deliverables and messages across channels (RM, Web, and Video)
- Translate campaign objectives into actionable creative plans
- Set up project file organization for both paper and electronic files, including briefs, schedules, reference material, specifications, and legal requirements
- Train team members on server organization, file naming, and routing procedures
- Open and update all projects in database and facilitate accurate feedback and tracking
- Develop, revise, and distribute schedules for high volumes of diverse projects from email blasts to web builds
- Coordinate use of image assets and messaging with team members, including creatives, asset management, imaging, image producers, and production
- Create and maintain project deliverables lists
- Maintain and distribute weekly "hot sheet" of project priorities to team members
- Route layouts, renderings, and production files for internal review
- Schedule hand-off to production and insure project milestones are met
- Archive project files and assets with responsible parties
- Track team resource load and inform pipeline and creative services managers
- Be the liaison between other functional teams for transferring video assets
- Manage jobs through payables and invoicing stages
- Estimate agency time, price agency services, and coordinate with outside vendors
Requirements
- Passionate about creating structure and processes that support the development of amazing work in a creative environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and resourcefulness with strong attention to detail
- Experience working hand-in-hand with creative and production teams
- Agency experience a plus
- Ability to continuously re-prioritize and adapt to change, and effective at managing change
- Ability to keep large teams focused on common goals
- Ability to organize information quickly and at a high level
- Solid understanding and command of project management tools
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly
- Proven effectiveness when working under pressure
- Facility for communicating effectively one-on-one and in small teams
- Ability to manage through diplomacy
- Appreciation for the creative process
- Skilled at working with creative teams
- Knowledge and experience with the interactive design and production process
- Knowledge of rich media assets (e.g. Quicktime/Motion Graphics, HTML5, GIF animations,CSS/Java Script) for use in multimedia sites
- Experience tracking and prepping deliverables for localization
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent 5 to 10 years working agency required.
