Boulder Heavy Industries (BHI) is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to join our growing software engineering team. You will collaborate with all of our dynamic and unique subsidiaries to manage and deliver the creation of software products, apps and web experiences. You will be responsible for the process and execution of these projects with internal and external development teams to make your internal customers’ vision a reality!

A Day in the Life

• Develop, maintain and execute project plans and hold sprint planning meetings over the lifecycle of assigned projects.
• Understand and lead technology, IA and UX concepts and modern workflow.
• Partner with Account Management and Clients to have better insights into deadlines, blockers and deliverables.
• Track and report deliverables status; facilitate resolution of open issues.
• Clearly identify, analyze, prioritize, mitigate and communicate project risks.

Here's what you need to get our attention

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience
• 6+ years project management including software or digital production experience
• Experience working with software development teams is required

Here's what will make us call you for sure

• Strong organizational skills managing multiple projects at a time
• Ability to skillfully plan and maintain sprint plans and backlogs -across different projects, budgets, clients, timelines and resources
• Understand and develop project documentation such as SOWs, user stories, requirements, sprint plans and information architecture
• Strong knowledge of project management principles, methods, techniques and web-based tools such as JIRA
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Proven past experience to manage budgets
• Ability to adapt and quickly learn new systems and software
• Great collaborative and critical thinking talents<!--[endif]-->Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical people
• Exercise good judgment and make decisions
• Lead and influence teams without having direct authority/direct reports
• Mentor and coach other team members 

NOT required but will definitely give you an edge!

• Experience in eCommerce
• Experience building an Agile team and processes from the ground up
• Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification
