What You Will Do

As an Alchemer Solution Consultant (SC) you are a key member of the sales team and strategic partner to the account executive throughout the sales cycleUsing your knowledge of customer experience, you aim to identifyarticulate and demonstrate how Alchemer’s solution can help meet the business needs and drive value for customers.     

     Responsibilities 

  • Become an expert on Alchemer’ssolution and products. 
  • Support the salesperson in the qualification and understanding of customer needs through discovery and research, including an understanding of the customers current business problems and Voice of the Customer (VoC) strategy. 
  • Prepare and givein-depth technical demonstrations of the Alchemer solution, both standard and tailored to prospects and existing customers, both onsite and virtual, where you explain and show Alchemer’s value proposition and differentiation. 
  • Understand, demonstrate, and speak to implementation and integration options to both highly technical and non-technical audiences. 
  • Articulate to the customers and prospects how businesses like theirs use Alchemer
  • Respond to RFIs/RFPs including answering functional and technical questions about the Alchemer 
  • Ensure a successful transition of the customer’s requirements to the Alchemer post-sale teams. 
  • Contribute to the generation of product demo scripts and scenarios and maintain demonstration environment(s). 
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitive analyses, and product developments/releases to a level required for proficient product knowledge and demonstrations. 
  • Support Marketing events - user conferences, trade shows, webinars etc. 

What You Bring to this Role

  • Minimum 5-7 years’ experience as an enterprise software sales engineer or solution consultant (presales), implementation consultant or similar field-based, customer-facing position.
  • Previous experience in customer experience management, survey/data collection, business process automation, or market research software and systems. Knowledge of NPS survey tools or customer experience systems like Qualtrics or Medallia is a plus. 
  • Ability to explain and resolve common technical aspects of SaaS software, including security, protocols for APIs, and system integrations with various platforms including identity, email, social, learning, and analytics tools. 
  • Experience presenting to all levels of employees at Fortune 2000 companies, including C-level. 
  • Previous experience or familiarity with customer and business intelligence (BI) tools like Salesforce, Dynamics, Hubspot, PowerBI, SPSS, Tableau, etc. is ideal, but not required. 
  • Past training or familiarity with pre-sales approaches like Demo-to-Win, Great Demo!, The Challenger Sale, Solution Selling or other consultative selling methodologies a plus! 
  • Ability to travel (up to 30%)

Compensation for this position includes an annual base salary of $100,000 to $125,000, annual commission potential of up to $30,000, and participation in the Founder’s Pool program.
