Sr. Technical Project Manager
As the Sr. Technical Project Manager you will be Pocket Outdoor Media has a client looking for a Sr. Technical Project Manager with a combination of software application and infrastructure (at an enterprise level) project management experience.
Coordinates work performed by IT and Engineering staff and internal customers/partners by defining project specifications, performing feasibility and needs/impact assessments. Develops detailed project plans and manages all implementation processes including resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, testing, documentation, training and on-time delivery within budget constraints.
This position reports to the Chief Product Officer.
Responsibilities:
- Help manage and prioritize the workload of development teams, depending on company needs, and project due dates
- Hold team status meetings to provide visibility to the project's progress, deadline, goals, objectives, and issues
- Coach and guide team members to complete tasks and project deliverable
- Maintain project documentation, issue management, change requests and change management
- Seek ways to improve the process of delivering solutions to clients
- Review, understand and become an expert on all new requirements for software selection and integration dependencies
- Gather, analyze and document business requirements and processes
- Construct technical documentation to support all programs
- Identify options for potential solutions and assess them from both technical and business feasibility
- Collaborate with team and clients for User Acceptance Testing
- Take ownership and ensure that end to end cycle testing is completed for each initiative
- Assist with writing technical documentation for our client-facing knowledgebase, which will include technical documentation, tutorials, and other implementation guides for our customers

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required, in an IT-related field
- 8+ years of working experience in the field as an IT business analyst or technical project manager
- Knowledge in business application systems, enterprise, distributed, multi-tier/web-services, web-based applications
- Knowledgeable in quality assurance best practices in an Agile methodology environment
- Expert in requirements documentation procedures
- Expert knowledge of software development life-cycle and methodologies
- Ability to demonstrate strong analytical skills
- Deep customer focus and experience with researching and determining customer needs
- Ability to conform to shifting and competing priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience with working closely with remote development teams
- Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Superior verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- High energy, "can-do" attitude with a willingness to do what it takes to get the job done
