About the Team:
JumpCloud is the Directory Platform that consolidates the management of a remote workforce across complex IT environments. Our product team is building a directory that eliminates the mundane tasks from an IT admin’s workflow and allows them to make swift, intelligent decisions to actively manage the proper access to all IT resources—including their device, networks, and applications—with ease and clarity. Our Cloud Directory aims to provide admins a single platform that intelligently orchestrates the entire user lifecycle across an extensive collection of endpoints.
What you’ll be doing:
The Senior Technical Program Manager is responsible for a custom tool developed to assist our customers into adopting our platform. This position is critical for converting sales opportunities into wins.
The Senior Technical Program Manager works with Sales and Marketing to determine the backlog of requests and enhancements and works with the engineering to prioritize, estimate, and deliver a roadmap of capabilities to encourage customer adoption.
This role is a fully qualified Senior Technical Program Manager who can work independently interfacing with internal and external customers at every level. As a Senior Technical Program Manager and a leader on our product team, this role is squarely focused on sales wins related to customer conversions.
JumpCloud is looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to be an advocate of our capabilities to help customers migrate seamlessly to our platform. The product manager for the solutions engineering team will partner with Sales, Marketing and our Onboarding teams to analyze, refine and prioritize execution of solutions to help in a seamless transition to JumpCloud. A successful candidate must exhibit an ability to empathize with customers, be motivated by solving issues, and remain positive and productive even when faced with setbacks.
Key Skills:
- 5+ years of Product Management, Delivery Management or Technical Account Management experience
- Must be able to interview customers objectively and identify key unmet needs
- Comfortable handling difficult customer interactions and communicating with professionalism and poise
- Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas and facilitate consensus in a cross functional and matrixed environment
- Strong go to market and business analysis skills
- Cross functional planning, coordination, and delivery of product
- Strong communication skills, comfortable presenting to senior executives internally and externally
Responsible for:
- Playing an active role in our product development team, educating internal and external stakeholders on product capabilities for ownership area
- Maintaining touch points and creating access for our customer facing teams to provide feedback from customers.
- Rationalizing all customer input into a backlog of features and enhancements.
- Driving the feature definition from research through development including all deployment activities
- Proposing the strategy for product and reporting on the progress internally
- Working as part of the extended Product Team, including other Product Managers, Product Owners, UX, and Architects in facilitating the processes, practices and principles necessary to delivering outstanding business value and an exceptional customer experience
In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the approximate annual compensation range for this role is $150,000 to $200,000, including base salary and any related bonuses or commissions.

Where you’ll be working/Location:
JumpCloud is committed to being Remote First. All of our roles are remote. If a role requires you to be in a certain location or country, that will be clearly stated in the job description. All roles posted in United States locations do require that you be located within one of the 50 U.S. States.
Our Headquarters is in the Denver/Boulder, CO area. Once we reopen our offices you will have the opportunity to remain fully remote, work from one of our office locations (CO only currently) or flex your time.
