Your Impact
Handshake is hiring a Senior Technical Program Manager to drive key initiatives across the Infrastructure Engineering organization. This individual will report to the Director of Infrastructure Engineering and work closely with the stakeholders throughout Handshake. They will be the primary owner for key initiatives in the Infrastructure Engineering organization by driving efficiency through processes and definition, elevating our culture by creating thoughtful and strategic internal programs, and representing Engineering needs through effective planning.
Compensation Range: $149,120 - $174,410
Your Role
We’re excited for you to work on:
Partnering closely with key stakeholders across Handshake, such as Product Management, Design, and other Engineering leaders to execute on important projects for our employer customers and education partners.
Working closely with engineering leadership to drive the annual and quarterly planning process and define OKRs.
Defining program, project, and change management processes informed by industry best practices.
Defining and tracking reports, metrics, and dashboards to accurately provide insight into productivity and effectiveness for the Infrastructure teams.
Your Experience
Experience managing engineering projects and driving engineering needs for an organization.
Experience in managing and shipping multiple, large-scale products and features while prioritizing technical debt.
Exceptionally organized and experienced in communicating across multiple teams and departments.
Experience planning and leading strategic initiatives.
Experience working with and presenting to senior leadership.
High-level thinker, but also detail-oriented when executing on projects.
Ability to successfully communicate across multiple teams and multiple functions in a remote work environment.
For cash compensation, we set standard ranges for all roles based on function, level, and geographic location, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies. In order to be compliant with local legislation, as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including geographic location as well as candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
