RingCentral, Inc. is seeking a Senior Privacy Program Manager to join our growing Privacy team. We are looking for a self-starter, who will partner with cross-functional teams to help embed privacy into everything we do and help mature our privacy operations.
Responsibilities
Work with the company’s CPO in setting the roadmap and determining the goals of RingCentral’s global privacy program
Drive development, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of RingCentral’s global privacy program, in coordination with privacy analysts and privacy counsels
Maintain documentation of the global privacy program, including policies, procedures, program calendar, and collateral, such as record of data processing activities
Identify and drive process improvements for streamlining, optimizing, and automating key privacy processes throughout the entire program lifecycle
Support privacy awareness and education efforts across the company
Partner with teams across the company to advance and oversee the adoption of privacy policies, processes, and best practices
Oversee RingCentral’s vendors’ privacy review and onboarding, including review and execution of data processing agreement
Manage RingCentral’s sub-processor privacy reviews, transfer impact assessments, and customer notification processes
Support sales activities and deals by providing information about the privacy program as needed to respond to customer or prospect inquiries and RFPs
Support the rest of the legal team with information and guidance about the global privacy program, as it may be required for RingCentral’s business
Act as the point of contact for privacy audits
Oversee large scale privacy projects that are highly complex & cross-functional in nature
Advocate for internal privacy principles and identify creative ways to embed concepts of privacy by design into operational activities
Qualifications
6+ years experience in a privacy or compliance role
Experience in building and managing an internal privacy program
Experience working with cross functional stakeholders such as Sales & Marketing, Product, Engineering, HR, and Finance
Master knowledge of privacy best practices, and working knowledge of major global legal frameworks
Understanding of privacy issues as they may apply to technology
Curiosity and a strong ability to dig into personal data flows from a technical perspective and to translate privacy standards into functional requirements
Ability to influence across the organization to foster adoption of privacy policies and best practices
Ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast paced and ever-changing environment
Strategic mindset to build and improve the global privacy program over time
A certification such as CIPP/US, CIPP/E, or CIPM is a major plus.

If you are hired in Colorado, the compensation range for this position is between $100,000 and $126,000 for full-time employees, in addition to eligibility for variable pay, equity, and benefits. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, health and wellness, 401k, ESPP, vacation, parental leave, and more! The salary may vary depending on your location, skills, and experience.
