Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships
DispatchHealth is seeking a Senior Director of Partnerships to play a critical leadership role in continuing to grow its innovative model of acute care in the home. Reporting to the Vice President of Partner Strategy and Success, this individual will collaborate with health plan partners to design and implement partnership strategies to expand the reach of DispatchHealth, improve health outcomes, and reduce healthcare costs.
This is a role that will combine day-to-day ownership of critical partner relationships with an opportunity to contribute to the company’s overall strategy for growth.
Partner with DispatchHealth leadership to develop and hone overall growth strategy, including by:
- Defining and scoping new service lines that could be offered to patients
- Partnering with clinical team and payer partners to identify opportunities to drive greater value for patients within existing service lines (e.g. coordinating social determinants of health interventions)
- Developing and implementing innovative contracting frameworks, including value-based care agreements
- Shaping strategies for participating in new CMS programs (e.g. Direct Contracting)
- Supporting efforts to codify and communicate DispatchHealth value proposition
- Supporting high profile business development opportunities
Work closely with DispatchHealth and health plan partner teams to drive successful partnership outcomes, including by:
- Developing partnership roadmaps to drive improved patient experience, better health outcomes, and lower costs
- Leading working sessions to develop and refine implementation plans to support these roadmaps
- Collaborating with DispatchHealth subject matter experts to identify and incorporate clinical, operational, and marketing best practices to support implementation plans
- Developing metrics and milestones to measure the success of partnerships and routinely reporting on progress to plan
- Supporting regular business reviews with executive partners
- Serving as a day-to-day contact for key partner executives
Requirements
- Passion for advancing healthcare’s triple aim
- At least four years of experience in healthcare services, including but not limited to working at a payor, provider, digital health company, healthcare consulting firm, or in healthcare policy
- Strong business judgment: ability to understand business drivers for DispatchHealth partners and effectively communicate DispatchHealth’s value proposition to them
- Outstanding planning and organization skills, with demonstrated experience managing complex projects to successful outcomes
- Exceptional oral and written communication; experience presenting to senior audiences and facilitating meetings
- Self-directed, entrepreneurial, and eager to take ownership
- Comfort with ambiguity and startup-ish environment
- Bachelor’s degree
