Headquartered in Denver, minutes from the beautiful Rocky Mountains!  We are seeking an enthusiastic Sr. Delivery Manager to join our team!  

What you will be doing: 

The Senior Delivery Manager is responsible for leading teams to deliver complex project(s) for our strategic customers that span across one or more business units. This role will be responsible for full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously. This role is also expected to contribute to process improvement initiatives as it relates to improving project delivery, establishing practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization.

Individual Project Management

  • Develop, maintain and manage strategic customer implementations to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within agreed scope and meeting an agreed upon success criteria

  • Provides technical, administrative, and operational management of assigned project tasks including acting as the primary liaison, the development of technical project plans, proposals, reports, and administrative reporting for external and internal stakeholder

  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations to various audiences, including project team, sponsors, C-level executives, and key stakeholders

  • Identify, manage and provide solutions for project delivery risks, project issues and project plan critical path activities; setting and resetting expectations throughout delivery

  • Monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies and critical path deliverables. Ensure that projects and programs are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget and quality standards

  • Facilitate business requirements definition and solution design meetings, as well as ongoing project status meetings

  • Provide on-site leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones

  • Reviews future project requirements and develops strategies for future work

  • Learn the Cloud Elements platform in order to demonstrate a functional acumen to support how solutions will address client goals while maintaining alignment with industry and Cloud Elements best practices

  • Understand the interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs

  • Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence

Strategic/Team Initiatives

  • Provide coaching, feedback and personal development to less experienced project team members

  • Participate in special projects, as required

  • Review and continuously improve communications and/or presentations to support specific customer implementation processes, as well as those that can be leveraged for future implementations

  • Maintain and enhance Cloud Element’s project management repository, tools, and templates

 

What we would like you to have:

  • Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education/experience

  • Minimum 7+ years of Project Management experience leading complex, strategic projects

  • Extensive understanding of project and program management principles, methods and techniques (SaaS and/or custom software experience preferred, integration project experience a plus)

  • Experience influencing and gaining buy-in from executives sponsors, team members, stakeholders and peers

  • Excellent leadership, communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills with strong experience presenting to executive sponsors, technical and non-technical staff, all levels of management

  • Proven track record in managing effective teams of software engineers

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, simultaneous, complex projects successfully

  • Ability to work in an environment with changing priorities and embrace change through analytical and problem-solving capabilities; Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

  • Proven success in providing on-site leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones

  • Team player who is flexible, delivery-oriented, enthusiastic and has the drive to continually learn and improve
