As the Salesforce Marketing Cloud Program Manager, you will serve as the owner of the Marketing Automation implementations, which are a part of larger CRM and Engagement Center projects.  You will lead the client engagement and collaborate with a team of experts and third party vendors for SFMC and Eloqua solutions. You will have direct accountability for the overall success of the client projects for Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Eloqua.

What you will do:

  • Serve as the client lead and collaborate with 3rd party vendors to conduct discovery meetings
  • Analyze current project management practices and procedures for accuracy and effectiveness
  • Manage scope, budget, and client expectations across multiple projects
  • Manage all aspects of the project life-cycle including project, resource and release planning, vendor management and scope management
  • Play a lead role in managing the client relationship
  • Define, manage, and continuously improve our Marketing Automation program and the way that we collaborate and work with 3rd party vendors to facilitate economies of scale and execution
  • Hold vendors accountable for task scope and delivery within agreed upon LOE
  • Provide collaborative feedback from clients to the product development team(s)
  • Quickly respond to client requests for immediate issues while also being able to drive projects to completion
  • Analyze each client's specific request and determine the underlying problem and recommend proper solutions
  • Be able to work hands-on in creating deliverables which could include strategy, design, development, testing application within the SFMC platform
  • Excellent communication with client contact regarding the status of the project, expected timelines, next steps and any other needs requested
  • Identify risks/issues across all client implementations owned by your team and escalate to the necessary and appropriate team members and stakeholders
  • Track and review individual and project team utilization and revise forecasted hours throughout the duration of the project
  • Troubleshoot issues and delegate/escalate where necessary
  • Document timelines for execution and escalate when necessary
  • Travel as required to build strong client relationships - up to 25%

What you will bring:

  • Extensive knowledge and experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementations - preferably in a Healthcare/Life Sciences Industry
  • Experience working with PHI and HIPAA environments
  • Familiarity with systems integrations and 3rd party integrations including API, Mulesoft, etc.such as CRM, Content Management, POS/Commerce or Web Analytics preferred
  • Experience with Interactive Marketing Channels (ie: SEO, SEM, PPC, Ad Management, etc.) and Marketing Cloud channels (email, mobile, social, sites).
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Results-oriented with rational/logical decision making
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and Exceptional communication skills
  • Experience with software professional services or consulting firm (SaaS preferred), including proven ability to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical customers and working in a client billable environment
  • Experience in customer relationship management to effectively manage communications, conflicts, and negotiations, identify operational issues/risks, recommend and implement strategies to resolve problems, and monitor and measure client satisfaction and expectations
  • 3-5  years experience with technical project management including work breakdown structures, risk/issue management, resource loading, project monitoring and controlling and quality assurance
  • Ability to work well with people including clients,  project stakeholders and project team members and proactive desire to continue to broaden and deepen business and consulting skills

  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment backed up by strong communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills and verbal and written communication skills with technical, non-technical, end-user, and executive audiences
  • Four-year college degree or equivalent experience with demonstrated proficiency in marketing automation
