The Role: Salesforce Admin

As part of the Internal Tooling team, the Salesforce Admin will work closely with key business stakeholders, product managers and internal users to assist with the ongoing development and optimization of our Salesforce platform. This role will provide frontline support for the platform resolving issues, handling requests, and work towards building out key system functionality. 


Responsibilities:

  • Work with stakeholders and product managers to define and document development requirements.
  • Support for internal users involving troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution for all business applications.
  • System configuration and coding, which includes management of custom code, management of system configuration, and the design and building of new functionality and upgrades.
  • Assist with enhancements and updates in coordination with other administrators, project managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Build custom reports and dashboards in Salesforce to help the Sales Team make more informed decisions.
  • Maintain, enhance and create workflows, functions and configurations within the Salesforce.com environment.
  • Make recommendations to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems.
  • Creation and management of profiles, permissions, and layouts for all business applications.
  • Utilize tools such as Data Loader and DemandTools to reassign accounts, contacts, and leads in bulk.
  • Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades.
  • Assist training new users; growing the Salesforce skill set across the organization

Qualifications:

  • 2-3+ years of Salesforce experience.
  • Understanding of the Salesforce data schema required.
  • Preference for Bachelor’s degree in information systems or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with workflows, process builder, and reporting.
  • Salesforce.com Administrator Certification preferred.
  • Proficient in Salesforce.com administrative skills, such as creating user, profiles, roles, custom objects, page layouts, flows, workflow rules, validation rules, reports, dashboards required.
  • Highly self-motivated, directed, ability to work independently and be results-driven required.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels of the organization required.
  • Willingness and ability to adapt to the rapid business and organizational changes that accompany a high-growth environment

Compensation: $85,000 minimum base salary + bonus and equity

Location

We are actively hiring in San Diego, CA and Denver, CO. Majority of our employees work remotely but we have an office in the RINO district if employees choose to come in.
