Four Winds Interactive seeks a Project & Release Manager to work with the Product Team. This position will be responsible for coordinating resources and overseeing all aspects of product go to market activity. This role requires project management expertise, time management skills, attention to detail, teamwork, and desire to work in a fast-passed environment bringing new technology products to market. Strong communication skills will be required in coordinating and defining required release materials/training with almost every department within FWI. The Project & Release Manager will report to the VP of Product, and is not a management position.

The compensation package will be aligned to each candidate’s experience and qualifications. All applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain release process for new products and product enhancements
  • Design and/or implement new tools to support product release activity
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to understand the technical details and market positioning of FWI products
  •  Impact assessment of new product offerings on internal FWI teams and existing customers
  • Coordinate all product release activity with internal stakeholders
  • Management of the tasks and milestones required for product MVP and scheduled release date

Qualifications

Requirements for Success:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent military experience preferred
  • 3+ years of successful software implementation, project management, release management, or configuration delivery experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Project planning and reporting experience
  • Experience with Project Management methodology/tools (scope management, budget tracking and analysis, risk analysis and management as well as change order processes)
  • Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft  Project
  • General knowledge of software development, creative, and sales processes
  • Basic knowledge of digital communications including but not limited to computer hardware, displays and peripherals
  • Great attention to detail and basic understanding of effort estimation techniques
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple competing priorities
  • Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
  • Experience with software product release cycles
  • Ability to coordinate with a variety of internal stakeholders from multiple departments/business levels

Helpful for Success:

  • PMP Certification a plus
  • Salesforce experience a plus
  • Knowledge of the digital signage business model, evolution and practices
  • Desire to seek out improvement while balancing work load and change management curve
  • Basic knowledge of FWi digital communications platform and ability to quickly learn new software applications and techniques
  • Basic knowledge of FWi implementation services and the effort required to complete a variety of digital signage projects
  • Experience with software pricing models
  • Experiencing facilitating client requirements sessions
