A little about the role…
The project manager is a process-centric driver of change for the betterment of all clients and departments within the company. This role performs many of the traditional project management tasks of planning and designating project resources, preparing budgets, monitoring progress, and keeping stakeholders informed but the central tenet of the role is to identify and resolve company challenges through servant leadership and process improvement.
To give you an idea of the types of projects you could be managing the following are recent examples of projects that have needed both traditional project management excellence as well as innovative process development:
- Telephony project: managing the consolidation of telephone systems across the company into a single solution
- Acquisition project: managing the systems integration and data migration of a large carve-out acquisition
- Corporate Intranet project: managing the development of a consolidated corporate intranet solution for all departments
- Development environments project: managing the implementation of development and testing environments for development teams
- SCRUM Master: managing development teams’ ceremonies and backlogs for teams new to Agile processes
- Client Relations project: developing process and procedures for customer support and account management teams for their interactions with both clients and product and development teams
- RACIs: development and implementation of RACIs across the entire company to document and confirm departmental and executive accountabilities and responsibilities
Who You Are
- Has a broad project management experience and familiarity with Operations, IT, Infrastructure, and software engineering
- Advanced skills in steering teams to achieve small and large scale goals while keeping track of the granular details
- Servant leadership skills in influencing all levels of management to collaborative decisions
- Strong familiarity with project management tools, methodologies, and best practices
- Utilize advanced interpersonal Project Management skills to communicate with the customers, executives, and software professionals to reach a consensus about project requirements and schedule
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Interpersonal skills to help nurture customer relationships and work with cross-functional teams
- Adept in planning, working in a fast paced environment, and multi-tasking skills
What You’ll Do
- Skillfully manage multiple IT and Software projects simultaneously
- Prioritize work to ensure company objectives are delivered on time and on budget
- Professionally communicates across a diverse array of teams and individuals to ensure team members effectively deliver and other stakeholders are actively aware of project status
- Intuitively understand complex business goals and how each project aligns with those strategies
- Use the appropriate project tracking and communications mechanisms, using IT software and tools. Examples include Project schedule, product backlogs, burn-down charts, risk, and issue management tools, reposts, and other mechanisms
- Work cross functionally with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to create, maintain, and enhance effective and structured processes around the feedback/integration/delivery cycle
- Artfully managing issues and risks to projects as they develop and work with teams to identify how to move past or around these issues.
- Effectively and tactfully coordinate and manage project resources, including both internal and outsourced teams
Requirements
Our Ideal Candidate will have…
- 3 - 5 years experience in project management roles managing small and large scale projects
- Bachelor's degree or combination of experience and education
- Relevant certification a plus
- Be familiar with a variety of different development processes (Agile/Scrum/Waterfall), concepts, practices, and procedures, including sprint planning, backlog pruning, and user story creation.

Salary
$80,000 - $110,000/year DOE
Location
This position is based in our downtown Denver office.
We are currently in a flexible hybrid in-office/remote working model based on local COVID-19 health regulations and business needs. While we are working remotely now, we may transition to a one day per week in the office and candidates must be willing and able to (eventually) work one day per week from our downtown Denver office.
