Responsibilities:
- Execute installation and start-up of innovative hospital pharmacy devices
- Coordinate device follow-up and servicing in customer sites including but not limited to preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Respond to customer inquiries and maintain professional communication
- Apply factory corrections and enhancements on devices, including installation of new software releases.
- Provide troubleshooting instructions via phone or email to end users.
- Perform follow-up on work procedures defined by the manufacturer.
- Execute customer trainings on products and devices as needed; this will include travel to different geographic regions
- Ability to be accessible for contact by phone and cover rotations for weekend/holiday on-call responsibilities
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Engineering in Automation, Electronics, Mechatronics or equivalent is required
- Minimum of 2 years experience in industrial maintenance and/or servicing.
- Experience in medical device servicing and pharma industry maintenance experience is required
- Familiarity with and technical understanding of automation equipment including but not limited to sensors, electric motors, PLCs etc.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Refined communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Exhibits professionalism, commitment to excellence, detail orientation, and accountability.
- Strong organizational skills with a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Ability to work independently; must be able to manage deadlines and multiple projects concurrently.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs as an essential function of the role (lifting of equipment for installation and preventative maintenance).
- Proficiency with MS Office applications.
