Position Overview

As part of the Global Services organization, the Project Manager has an overall responsibility for the successful planning, execution, monitoring, controlling and closing of Intelex software implementations.

Responsibilities and Deliverables

Project Delivery

• Leads multiple, concurrent small to large-size client projects.
• Assigns tasks in accordance with the project schedule.
• Meets project scope, budget, deadlines, and schedules.

Implementation Support

• Works in collaboration with (Sr.) Solution Architects and (Sr.) Consultants to develop project plans that align to the requirements and effort of client solutions.
• Coordinates project requirements with clients to ensure alignment on project deliverables.
• Effectively communicates with the client, Intelex project team and other cross-functional departments to ensure project requirements and milestones are understood and delivered according to the project plan.
• Facilitates the day-to-day operational aspects of projects
• Effectively applies implementation methodology and enforces project standards.
• Identifies and mitigates project exposure and risk.

Operations

• Effectively communicates with clients to identify needs and evaluate business solutions.
• Contributes towards continual improvement of service delivery models.
• Works with finance to ensure project invoices are released and paid by the client.
• Manages changes in scope, schedule and budget throughout the project
• Sets and manages client expectations throughout a project.

Organizational Alignment

• Reports to the Consulting Manager, Global Services

Qualifications

Skills & Work Traits

• Ability to maintain strategic relationships with various internal and external parties such as clients, vendors, employees and executives.
• Strong written and verbal skills; including the ability to present technical issues to a non-technical audience.
• Results driven with a proven ability to project a positive attitude.
• Understanding of Environmental, Health, Safety or Quality Management Systems an asset.
• Prior experience with greenhouse gas emissions an asset
• Proven ability to resolve problems, clearly present solutions and build consensus.
• Close attention to detail, including careful QA/QC of work.
• Professional self-starter: able to develop and maintain project management skillset and product knowledge.
• Driven by difficult situations and having difficult conversations with clients and team members.

Technical Competencies

• Strong understanding of the software implementation project lifecycle including waterfall and agile methodologies

Experience

• 3 + Years of experience in Project Management role, or equivalent experience within a software delivery environment.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Systems, or equivalent experience.

• This position is based in Denver, CO.
