About the Role
We are looking for an extremely motivated and organized individual who has a passion for project execution and management to create and run our Project Management Office! This individual will make an impact on OrthoFi’s growth and strategic execution through cross-functional partnership, supportive leadership of the project management team, and direct project management of key company initiatives. The PMO Director plays an integral role in the initial planning stages for any project as they are involved from project inception through to completion and review.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Create and define the vision for project management at OrthoFi through the implementation of the Project Management Office (PMO)
Develop and implement PM methodologies, including tools, templates and best practices
Ensure that OrthoFi’s standards are upheld and methodologies are followed through the entire process of each project’s development and execution
Provide leadership and mentorship to a growing team of project managers
Facilitate and participate in prioritization and resource allocation discussions with executive steering committee
Oversee development and implementation of project plans and partner with team members to ensure projects are completed in line with timelines and defined success criteria
Work with stakeholders to conduct risk analysis and develop mitigation and contingency plans
Identify process and activities to improve
Desired Skills and Experience
At least 5-7 years of experience as a Project Manager
Experience building a PMO preferred but not required
PMP certification Required
Experience leading a PMO required
Ability to understand holistic view of projects and vision
