Project Manager - Customer Operations
The Project Manager plans and coordinates project activities to ensure project and team objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frames. This position coordinates weekly customer migration activities and manages migration related project tasks and reports.The position requires initiative, detail orientation, and thoroughness to support multiple projects, and the professionalism to effectively collaborate with team members and GHX customers.Primary Responsibilities and Duties
- Initiate and maintain project communication with customers.
- Set up and maintain project task lists and schedules using project management software in coordination with cross-functional teams, project stakeholders, development, and product.
- In collaboration with team, employ discretion to adjust schedules based on customer needs or situations as they arise while maintaining overall budgetary and timeline parameters of project.
- Schedule project-related meetings and provide updates to leadership on a regular cadence.
- Facilitate project team meetings including presenting project status information, recording meeting minutes, and communicating meeting outcomes to appropriate parties.
- Respond to customer questions. Escalate technical issues to appropriate engineers as needed.
- Maintain project tracking status board and regularly update stakeholders on project status.
- Manage project coordinators and migration resources to ensure timelines are met.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 3 or more years of experience in project leadership roles.
- Advanced knowledge of project management methods and processes with demonstrated success in delivering complex project scope on time and within budget.
- Excellent facilitation, communication and organizational skills.
- Superior ability to multi-task.
- Advanced MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills including experience in a customer-facing role.
- Solid analytical and qualitative reasoning skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment, yet be self-directed, proactive, and action-oriented.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment in complex situations and function independently with initiative, creativity and attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze and diagnose project performance problems and execute effective corrective actions.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP Certification.
- Experience managing projects that are multi-threaded, including teams in excess of 5 team members, and representing greater than $100,000 in revenue or budget.
- Healthcare experience.
Estimated Salary range for this position: $69,300 - $96,600The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the GHX's salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of GHX's total compensation package for employees.
