Job Description
A Program Manager Tech 2 is part of a key team of Technology professionals managing technical programs that deliver significant business value to Nordstrom and its customers. The Program Manager Tech 2 partners with internal stakeholders to develop, design, build and launch technology solutions. This position interacts with people in both business and technical roles to create specifications and resolve issues with an eye toward continuous improvement. This position works across department and functional lines on a variety of programs that range in scope, risk and complexity.\\n\\nNordstrom's Gift Card, Loyalty and Marketing Technology Programs support various offer types that drive merchandize sales that incentivize customers to shop with us as an authority in the fashion industry. As a Program Manager Tech 2 you will drive implementation of key roadmap features to increase the customer activation and acquisition targets as it related to trips and spend. You will also ensure that the Technology platform meets Key performance and Service Level Agreements to ensure optimal customer experience.\\n\\nA day in the life...\\nCombines full understanding of concepts, theories and principles of Program Management with business insights to solve practical needs of the business while managing moderately complex programs\\nProactively manages work execution through program dependencies, risks, schedules, budgets and understands the importance of requirements gathering, prioritization, and clear stakeholder communication\\nUses data to report status, performance and communicates using fact-based and relevant data\\nKnows who customers are and communicates technical requirements to dependent teams. Defines data requirements in both technical and business terms that inform the success of programs\\nUses customer lens to create data measurements to quantify measures for success and recognizes gaps in technical and operational KPI's\\nPossesses base level knowledge of technology (e.g. Cloud, APIs, services, Windows stack, open source, database technologies, etc.)\\nPossesses broad understanding of end to end capability and applies engineering lifecycle knowledge to feature design, task estimation, design review, story creation, triage, schedule and performance standards\\nReads basic code constructs, understands and identifies estimates of effort to complete engineering work streams\\n\\nYou own this if you have...\\nA 4-year degree in related field preferred or equivalent experience\\n3 + years of Project or Program Management experience\\n3 + years of demonstrated successful program delivery\\nExperience managing SDLC methodologies\\nManagement of programs with cross-functional stakeholders\\nExperience leveraging methodologies such as Agile/Scrum with tools such as Jira and Confluence, to plan and deliver on Software team commitments.\\n\\n#LI-TM1\\n\\nThis range may vary for candidates hired to work in locations other than Colorado.\\n\\nMinimum = $70,600/annually\\n\\nMaximum = $112,700/annually
