About the Team VIZIO is looking for a proactive and forward-thinking program manager to enhance existing operations and platform projects. In this hands-on role, you will help manage implementation efforts of our operations platforms and monitoring and lead project teams to ensure milestones and deadlines are met. What You Will Do

  • Direct and manage full life cycle project development activities of moderate to high
  • complexity
  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables to support business goals in collaboration
  • with senior management and stakeholders. Develop full-scale project plans and
  • associated communications documentation. Estimate resources needed to achieve
  • project goals. Anticipate and proactively manage changes in project scope, identify
  • potential crises; devise contingency plans.
  • Lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects.
  • Plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle.
  • You will be the driving force to improving the quality and velocity of work across cross-functional teams by proactively identifying and solving issues and risks.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
  • Identify and resolve design/delivery issues and conflicts within project team.
  • Track and report on project milestones and deliverables.
  • Manage project expectations and communicate expectations with team members and
  • other stakeholders. Distribute tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
  • Define project success criteria and communicate to involved parties throughout project
  • life cycle.
  • Conduct project postmortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify
  • successful and unsuccessful project elements.
  • Provide ongoing liaison with project stakeholders.
  • Develop and recommend best practices/tools for project execution and management.

About You

  • You have 5+ years relevant scrum master, project/program manager experience in an enterprise organization
  • You have a background in technical program/project management with experience working with diverse engineering teams.
  • You have knowledge and experience with structured software development.
  • You have managed a portfolio of complex programs with success.
  • You are able to interpret business requirements into technical stories for engineering teams.
  • You are able to execute in a fast-paced and highly fluid environment.
  • You possess leadership skills in a dynamic business environment.
  • You can effectively manage collaborative, cross-functional, co-located business and engineering teams to success.
  • You can effectively pivot directions based on changing priorities.
  • You can effectively communicate with business and technical professionals.
  • You are highly analytical and visual, with a mastery in Jira, Confluence, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • You have excellent verbal and written English skills.
  • You can "think outside the box" and empower your teams to follow.
  • You possess excellent attention to detail.
  • Scrum Master or other project certifications highly desirable
