Prologis is seeking a Program Manager of Financial Systems in our Denver office

 

The Program Manager of Financial Systems is an integral part of the Global Accounting team and will partner and collaborate with global accounting and business leaders to manage the delivery of one or more concurrent global accounting projects utilizing project management tools and techniques.

 

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for managing the complete life cycle of global accounting projects, including scope development, planning, execution, risk management, and closeout to ensure planned results are achieved on time
  • Communicate with accounting, business and IT  stakeholders to define and implement initiatives, foster collaboration, clarify expectations, and provide constructive issues management resulting in timely and cost effective project delivery
  • Create project deliverables including initiation documents, risk management logs, and complete project plans, communication plans, deployment plans, test plans, training plans, support documents and status reports
  • Develop timelines, track progress, provide status reports for multiple projects and sprint iterations appyling project management best practices to plan, prioritize and execute work
  • Maintain project action item list and follow up with owners to ensure closure and progress on items and provide clear and relevant communication to stakeholders and decision makers
  • Articulate technical issues to business stakeholders in an understandable and relevant way
  • Responsible for supervising the development and training of Associate Project Manager

 

Essential Skills, Experience & Education: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field
  • PMP or PgMP certification preferred with minimum two years managing and implementing global projects including large ERP implementations utilizing Agile or Waterfall methodologies
  • Able to flex between strategic and tactical aspects of project leadership while never losing sight of the bigger picture and identify potential risks and issues
  • Able to see over the project landscape and ask the right questions with the ability to translate ideas and needs into tangible actions with measurable results
  • Proficient using Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Visio, Office Professional and SharePoint tools to manage business requirements, processes and data at multiple levels of detail
  • Demonstrates growth mindset, flexibility and adaptability to change
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, multi-lingual a plus
