Program Manager, Business Process Intelligence

Position Description
The Program Manager, Business Process Intelligence (BPI) will lead the Technology Systems Solutions (TSS) team’s efforts in providing functional business groups processes, systems and tools that empower them to maximize value for Zayo. They will collaborate with members of the functional groups to identify areas of improvement in business processes and/or systems. They must have a solid understanding of the business environment and an interest in going beyond the obvious, delving into the process in order to create efficiency.
This individual will work directly with the business to define requirements, design and document reports, develop Business Process Intelligence and work with systems developers to develop and implement the BPI strategy.
Responsibilities
• Work with each department to develop an understanding of each department’s role within the company; maintain knowledge of their needs in order to develop solutions
• Identify any opportunities to automate existing processes
• Gather requirements to develop process and/or systems improvement
• Ability to anticipate what users will want and create development requirements
• Work with the GIS Manager, Sr. Director - Technology Systems Solutions and Salesforce development staff to implement system and/or process improvements
• Manage contract employees working on inventory data backlog
• Identify and rectify training needs for users of TSS-owned systems
Qualifications
• Solid understanding of business processes as it applies to Zayo
• The ability to collaborate across functional groups
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical issues and resolve problems at all levels of the organization both internally and externally
• Solid business analysis skill. Must have good inter-personal skills
• Must be comfortable in rapidly changing environment
• Keen attention to detail and complex problem solving abilities from operational and technical perspective
• Ability to work independently and engage supervisor as needed
• Experience documenting and analyzing processes, procedures, and/or policies
• Ability to handle full workload and meet proposed deadline
• Hands-on experience analyzing large data sets
• A minimum of two years of telecommunications background
• Experience using Microsoft tools, such as MS Office, Excel and Access
• Experience working with Salesforce.com, GESW, ESRI or MetaSolv Solutions is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management or specialized training/certification or equivalent work experience
