About this position:

The Production Team Manager serves as the head of the web project management team and acts as the leader of all web project managers and project management processes.  The Production Team Manager helps to drive and determine the strategic direction of the web project management team, while also carrying their own projects. They oversee and manage all project managers and PM processes.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage web projects as assigned

  • Manage, mentor and train Project Managers (PMs), and identify continuing education opportunities.

  • Create/enhance/manage project management processes, tools and procedures.

  • Run weekly web meetings with PMs to stay abreast of projects and help PMs keep projects on time, scope and budget.

  • Share responsibility for project success (defined by client satisfaction and adherence to budget) specifically in areas project managers have influence.

  • Be involved in personnel decisions, reviews and hiring in conjunction with HR and the management team

  • Works closely with COO and Controller on financials, budgets, and Netsuite optimization reporting.

  • Assigns projects to PMs based on project needs and availability

  • Communicate key department issues, policies, procedures to other department leaders

The skills/qualifications we are looking for are:

  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrable project management experience.

  • Ideal candidate will have Agile project management experience in an agency setting

  • Experience using Drupal and Wordpress a plus.

  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong written and verbal communication.

  • Experience producing software or web application scope of work documents.

  • Ability to handle multiple assignments with effective resolution of conflicting priorities.

  • Ability to work well as a team, to shine as an individual, and to maintain a sense of humor.

  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience

  • Project Management Certification preferred
