Partner Solutions Manager

The Partner Solutions Manager (PSM) is part of the brand-new Technical Solutions Organization (TSO) which is a collection of external-facing SMEs. Tactically, the PSM works as part of an account team to ensure achievement of the business objectives and revenue targets for a portfolio of select partners. He/she is known as a technical subject matter expert and acts as a trusted adviser inside the partner. The PSM provides technical assistance to partners that are building out solution and service offerings built around CB products.

What You’ll Do

  • Sets and manages partner expectations while continually highlight Carbon Black value proposition

  • Thinks strategically about partner solution success and adapts solution approach based on individual partner needs

  • Develop and maintain strong contacts and relationships with cross-functional teams (Sales, Support, Engineering, Prof. Svcs, and Prod Mgmt) to ensure the technical health of partner)

  • Drive coordination of technical resources both internally and externally as needed to close prospective opportunities

  • Work with the Carbon Black Channel Team and partners to formulate and implement both tactical and strategic sales and enablement initiatives within their portfolio

  • Apprises Carbon Black's management of overall health of Partner (technical, organizational, operational and sponsorship)

  • Persuade and influence Channel Partners, ISA/FSA, Advisor, & AM teams to sell Carbon Black products over competing solutions by making Carbon Black the easiest security vendor to do business with and providing a high level of technical competence

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years partner facing, tech industry experience

  • 3+ years of technical Channel and Partnership Sales experience

  • Security Certifications such as CISM, CISA, CISSP are helpful, not required

  • Build and maintain partner relationships to be significantly leveraged into driving additional Carbon Black business

  • Ability to validate proposed solutions and architectures and design appropriate differentiation in market for partners
