The ezCater Partner Onboarding team is focused on providing our new restaurant partners with the best possible experience as they prepare to receive orders on our platform. Whether it’s a small mom & pop coffee shop or a large enterprise brand, we want to make sure our onboarding teams are anticipating the needs of our partners and creating amazing experiences for them.

So what does onboarding at ezCater look like? After our sales team signs up a new restaurant partner, it’s the job of our onboarding specialists to curate each partner’s online presence through account creation and menu transcription to get partners up and running quickly and at a high level of success. We also support our partners directly during this process, and field requests from a variety of channels and internal teams, including sales and customer service teams, to ensure we’re setting up partners for long term success on our platform. 

That’s where you come in - we’re looking for a detail-oriented, highly flexible, quick learner who will not only become super proficient in the tools & systems we use today, but will also help us aim higher in solving problems and anticipating needs as we scale.

As an Onboarding Specialist, you will

  • Transcribe: You’ll work with large datasets and documents to compile, process, and transcribe partner information, including their account pages and menus.
  • Support: You’ll provide top-notch customer service to our restaurant partners over phone and email. 
  • Collaborate: Solution-oriented feedback is our bread and butter. We’ll need your help in improving our process and our tools. 
  • Advocate: We’ll expect you to be an internal advocate and champion for our amazing restaurant partners, and to seek out opportunities to create unparalleled experiences for them. 
  • Make an Impact: You’ll make an immediate impact on one of our largest company goals and will be an essential part of the success of thousands of restaurant partners. 


We’ll provide you with 2 weeks of in-depth training on how to use our tools and how to transcribe accounts and menus the ezCater way. We will show you all the ropes! This is an entry-level role requiring 6 months-1 year of work experience. But to succeed as an onboarding specialist, you need to be:

  • Devoted to details: Our quality standard is the highest in the business.
  • A skilled wordsmith: You can easily type 50+ WPM while maintaining a high level of quality and accuracy. 
  • Customer success-oriented: You handle escalations or critical issues well. Your empathy and emotional intelligence are off the charts!
  • A big-picture thinker: Our team innovates as a group, and we’ll expect you to meet us two steps ahead.
  • Hungry for change: If something isn’t working, we fix it. And then we fix it again.
  • A circus-level juggler: You’re comfortable with a high-volume list of varied tasks and prioritizing them feels like second nature to you. 
  • Tech-knowledgeable: You have experience with technical services and platforms (Zendesk & Hubspot are a plus). 
  • Adaptable & Inquisitive: You’re a natural problem solver - constant change is your fuel and you thrive in ambiguous situations.
  • Driven towards excellence: We’ll expect you to consistently meet or exceed expectations on delegated performance objectives.
