About the Team VIZIO's Operations and Technical Support team is seeking a Program Manager that will manage packaging and transit testing of VIZIO's products. As a key facilitator within the supply chain for packaging issues, this role will be a liaison between ODMs, Business Planning, Program Management, Sales and Retailers to ensure proper packaging compliance with requirements. The Operations Program Manager will report to the Sr. VP, Operations and Technical Support. What You Will Do

• Serves as Program Manager for VIZIO's packaging program.
• Coordinate packaging production and schedules to ensure product compliance with retailer requirements for transit testing are met.
• Be the primary resource to the On-Site Personnel and Sales, and the key point of contact to the ODMs.
• Consult with On-Site Personnel and/or ODMs during the packaging development and in-field execution
• Communicate with ODMs, Business Planning, Program Management /Sales and Retailers to ensure proper packaging compliance with requirements.
• Help maintain and improve ODM relationships regarding packaging.
• Respond in a timely manner to ODMs and internal stakeholders as well as retailers.
• Establish a good and professional working relationship with our ODMs and Sales, BP, Program Management
• Communicate packaging issues with the ODMs as well as internal stakeholders and retailer contacts
• Manage project timelines for multiple simultaneous projects.
• Lead bi-weekly meetings to coordinate activities of cross functional packaging teams.
• Document each retailer's requirements for packaging, damage rates, and transit testing
• Document all critical and pertinent information that may impact packaging
• Participate in process improvement efforts and various production meetings to foster a positive creative impact on the business
• Ensure VIZIO's packaging complies with retailer requirements
• Understand the ODM's process (deliverables, timelines, rework)
• Anticipate and proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential issues and devise contingency plans to ensure successful delivery.
• Communicate status and issues to Management
• Budget for packaging tests and other expenses for each year

About You

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent. College/associate degree preferred
• 2-5 years' experience in the relevant space
• Previous experience as a Program Manager preferred
• Good understanding of processes within the consumer goods and retail industries
• Experience in the packaging, or manufacturing industry preferred
• Full comprehension in reading work instructions and business memos
• Ability to work independently after initial training
• You are a self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced, yet at times, ambiguous environment
• You are a hard-working team player, with a "no task is too small" attitude
• You have ability to manage multiple projects and cross-functional stakeholders simultaneously to drive outcomes within often tight deadlines or quick turnaround times
