Job Summary
As a NetAppU Program Manager you provide a full range of logistical, operational, and program management services for employee, partner and customer trainings; both online and instructor led. You provide trainings to all business lines and content consumers of NetAppU learning materials, including engineering, product management, marketing, sales, and professional services. Essential Functions:A NetAppU Program Manager at this level works on projects of similar nature but greater scope and higher complexity than a NetAppU Program Manager 4. You will:- Work cross-functionally with senior management teams and executive staff to design and create programs that support NetApp business requirements.- Manage programs through all phases of the development cycle, from analysis and design through implementation and tracking; drive on-time, efficient launch of new programs.- Initiate discussions and manage engagements with third party vendors.- Develop and monitor the program budget; analyze cost effectiveness.- Establish and implement short and long range goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.- Perform strategic analysis, strategic planning and financial analysis; research, compile and analyze supporting program metrics.- Develop and direct implementation of goals, objectives, policies, and procedures; interpret and comply with all applicable regulations.- Provide for the selection, training, and professional development of appropriate support staff.- Represent the program and NAU in meetings with key business partners and other organizations; foster collaborative working relationships to the benefit of the program and NetApp.- Negotiate, develop, monitor and administer a variety of contracts and agreements.- Direct the building, maintenance and marketing of associated websites (e.g., certification customer site, course development resource center).

Interaction: - This individual must work effectively with Staff to Vice President level employees within the function, across functions and with external parties. - Limited supervision is provided, as this individual can operate, drive results, and set priorities independently. - The ideal candidate will be a proactive contributor and subject matter expert.- To be successful, this individual must demonstrate favorable results through leadership and influencing multiple individuals and groups.- Often acts as mentor or facilitator.
Education
Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years experience; or equivalent experience.
