Havenly is interior design for real people. We're a funded tech startup in Denver, and we believe everyone deserves a beautiful home they love. We are looking for an eCommerce Merchandise Coordinator to join our eCommerce team. The eCommerce Merchandise Coordinator will assist the eCommerce and operations team in daily execution of the product pipeline (getting product to site, setting up new vendor content and features, etc.), set up and/or quality assurance on product data and attributes from vendors. In this role, you’ll be a key member of the eCommerce team, supporting the company’s digital merchandising efforts and ensuring a delightful experience for every client that we serve. You’ll help define and manage the product-to-site pipeline and tools as well as a substantial volume of executional tasks within a fast-paced environment. This role impacts both Havenly designers workflow as well as all clients purchasing experience so attention to detail is key.

Key Job Responsibilities:

    • General
      • Support the Sr. Manager of eCommerce in managing vendor relationships, onboarding new vendors and ensuring their product data is properly manifest on the Havenly website
      • Help curate worthy and notable products for storytelling either to Havenly clients or Havenly designers with an eye toward/filter of delivering key merchandising metrics (i.e. sales and margin)
      • Interact and communicate with various levels in the organization from individual contributors to contract designers and external vendors
      • Troubleshooting problems and influencing resolution across functions. Produces work that is efficient, accurate and detail-oriented.
      • Whatever you’re called upon to do to help the company kick ass
    • Item set up/data management
      • Assisting with vendor item set up to create a compelling product experience on the site with intuitive category navigation. Help facilitate a clear and accurate product details page.
      • Tag existing vendor items with additional product details and tags to enable better search and discoverability of products by both designers and clients
      • Participating in various website and/or data testing and QA
      • Liaising with marketing and product management team to update and troubleshoot vendor product display issues
      • Ensuring accuracy and high-quality work across the site, with an understanding of its impact on the customer experience.
    • Merchandising
      • Driving products sales and conversion through best in class product content as well as curating and merchandising products for Havenly’s 200+ designers
      • Acting as an active participant in the alignment of the site navigation, product photography, and product display
  • Project Management
    • Securing samples from vendors for photo shoots and any follow up required once shoot is complete
    • Escalating issues and recommendations with an appropriate level of urgency.
    • Logging bug or feature tickets to inform product and engineering teams of issues and tracking priorities and resolution.
    • Communicating best practices, following up on status-updates and bugs and giving tool design feedback

Key Job Qualifications:

  • One year + of experience working at an online consumer brand or physical store retailer, preferably in the e-commerce space.
  • Outstanding individual and team performer with excellent track record of driving success.
  • A self-starting attitude: You work independently and effectively when directed by a manager
  • An undergraduate degree from a top-tier school with some retail or merchandising work experience.

This role will work out of Havenly’s Denver HQ during normal business hours. This is a contract position for the first 3 month with a possible option to continue at the end of the engagement.
