Job Description - Relocation is available for ths role
Provides Quality Project Management services and counsel to the Quality Function and Ball BPNCA
Functions for operational projects, plant/customer projects and initiatives.
What will you be responsible for?
- Ensures all personnel involved in a project, to include but limited to project team, plant personnel and contractors are aware of and adhere to all safety rules and regulations.
- Directs activities involved with the planning and implementation of assigned projects of all types.
- Coordinates feasibility and pre-AFE planning studies. Gathers, analyzes, brings together, and presents information from the customer, manufacturing, quality, and all other appropriate business areas.
- Establishes and monitors project schedules; makes use of the critical path approach to scheduling; revises project schedules as required to maintain project goals, develop responsibility plans and start-up production plans.
- Keeps management informed of project status, including progress, problems, cost, and schedule through regularly published project status reports.
- Effectively builds and leads all disciplines of project teams, incorporating engineering, customer, and other department’s personnel.
- Establishes quality documentation including but not limited to change management, policies, procedures and work instructions.
- Extensive and innovative use of the computer for project planning, scheduling, accounting, communications, etc.
- Project follow up to assure the project is meeting intended goals for quality, cost and schedule.
- Utilizes industry and non-industry best practices to establish and deploy standards across Ball’s plant network, functions, and customers.
- Apply learnings from past projects experience and best practices in BPNCA network.
What are we looking for?
- Broad training in a related field usually acquired through college or work-related experience
- Job related experience for 6 year(s) minimum
- Certifications/Licenses/Other: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain education
- Project Management certification preferred
- Black Belt or Master Black Belt preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; leads group discussions; excellent presentation skills
- Ability to facilitate and influence at all levels of the organization
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Leading projects using project management tools
- SPC, Characteristic classification assignment, FMEA, GR&R and other quality assurance elements
Compensation & Benefits
- Hiring Salary Range: $ 98,500 - 150,500 (Salary to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
- Job Grade: 13
- Other Compensation: This role will be eligible to participate in the annual incentive compensation plan.
